Every time you download an invoice as a PDF, the client details from the To section are saved to your browser. No button to click, no setup required.
How Saved Clients Works
When you download a PDF, InvoiNova saves the client's:
- Name
- Address
- VAT / Tax number
- Custom fields (IBAN, bank account, or any extra fields you've added)
Up to 50 clients are stored. If a client with the same name is downloaded again, their details are updated — not duplicated.
Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
Loading a Saved Client
Click the person icon in the navigation bar to open the Saved Clients panel. You'll see a list of all saved clients sorted by most recently used.
Click Load on any entry to fill in the form's client section instantly. Your invoice items, number, notes, and other fields stay exactly as they were — only the client block updates.
The panel closes automatically after loading.
Deleting Clients
Each client entry has a Delete button. To remove all saved clients at once, use Clear all clients at the bottom of the panel — you'll be asked to click once more to confirm.
Privacy
Like all InvoiNova data, your saved clients stay entirely in your browser. There is no account, no sync, and no cloud. If you clear your browser's site data, the list will be empty again.
